Rare wheels?

I saw someone on this forum around last year that had a set of white wire spoke wheels. I thought they looked amazing on the white supra. They looked very fitting for an older car. I personally don't like the look of more modern extravagent wheels on this style body so I would really like to get my hands on some wheels like that. Does anybody know who had those or where I can find some? I've searched pretty hard for them and can't find anything.

I'm pretty sure he's talking about Ideal's old wheels. Those are the only ones I can think of that were white wires on a white car.

really sounds like ideals car. maybe he will chime in here and let us know where he got them from. i know they are no longer on his car though

Yeah they were ideal's! They name sounds familiar. That's exactly what I was hoping would happen. So you know what I'm talking about with the wheels then? They're not like those BBS ones at all. I think I tried PM'ing him last year and never got a response. Do you have any idea where I can find wheels like that or what they're actually called so I can try to search for them. I guess it's because he took them off that I could never find pictures of them again.

I found a picture really easily now that I had that name. I guess time blurs the memory a bit. They do kind of look like those BBS wheels....sorry. Any idea what these wheels are?

I have tried contacting him about it and got no reply. They're only listed as MKIV wheels which is kind of ambiguous because those are definately not stock MKIV wheels.
