Unfortunately there are a couple splits in the bottom on the metal. PO bottomed out drifting one time. It's not too bad though, nothing a competent welder cannot fix. I'm going to clean it up real good and probably have it ceramic or powder coated, both to better its appearance and to keep the rust away. There is practically no rust on this exhaust what so ever

The problem is not the outside, it's the inside. Water collects in the muffler bodies and packing, eventually eating holes through the bottom. :( You could disassemble it and have it dipped, but it's not really cost effective.

How are you 100% positive it was the same exhaust? Did you take the guy's muffler off to look at the top of it, or get on you knees and look under the car? :nono:

lol.dont believe me then.

That exhaust looks great, I love the stockish look of some aftermarket exhaust systems. To whoever posted the bov, I used to have one of those on my old turbo II rx7. Sheepdog is the brand name I've always heard.

"rare" isn't always "good" crap parts can be rare as well due to the fact no one bought them ;)

Yeah, I know.

For the price I got it, I'm not too worried about it. :naughty:

ERA, thanks for the vid. Sounds good. Nothing too fancy or bizarre sounding, just that clean, crisp pshhh. Hrmm... looks like I might be looking for a Sheepdog BOV for when I go turbo
