Keep in mind I came from some terrible hacked exhaust (some idiot cut the stock exhaust before the resonator and put crush bent piping back to a glass pack for a muffler) so the Raptor Racing one was a godsend over the mind numbing drone of what I had.

Also, Raptor Racing uses a canister muffler now as a resonator instead of the glass pack that they used to use.

I'm also leaning towards the RR 2.5 setup with resonator and ceramic cat (to keep the noise down). I just hope it doesn't drone with my engine being NA.

Mainly looking for a good sounding system that will last more than a few years and not kill my ears with daily driving.

tbh its not worth it, unless u never wanna go turbo and would like it just for the noise purpose...id rather have it quiet and stock rather than a few hp..

That was the 1 piece exhaust that came with my 7mge, now im 2jzgte and looking for a quiet exhaust lol. This exhaust was fucking loud and droned like a mofo on the highway.

^No wonder it was loud and droned like mad. No cat, no resonator and a HUGE fart-can tip...lol. What else would you expect?

I don't plan on going turbo. Just keeping the car relatively stock. Not looking for extra power, just something that looks nicer, sounds good and that will last long.
