This was my first time running the car with slicks. I was getting 8.7x-8.9x at 85ish on street tires. This is a CT26 powered car on a stock turbo elbow, no nitrous. I'm going back to the track within the next couple weeks with a homemade ddp and a better tune to see if I can't break into the 7s before I tear it down for the winter. Car has 273k miles on it with the stock rear diff and it is starting to show some wear, but still launched pretty well.

Questions, comments, & constructive criticism are welcome.

cooler+ddp+better tune=7's :naughty:

Yes, it is stock suspension, great for weight transfer to the rear wheels lol.

CCW drag package on mk3, I must shake your hand!

What are those times comparable to in 1/4 mile?

provided you had a decent launch and run (no missed shifts, excessive wheelspin, etc) we usually use 1.53 * et = 1/4

in this case, should be ~12.4

Great job. I'm hoping to run saturday night but I only have drag radials. I'm going to get my car tuned tomorrow night. I should have some dyno videos to post up.

Only if they were actually mine, lol. Someone was letting me borrow the wheels and tires.
Like Dave said, somewhere around 12.4 is probably what it translates to in the 1/4

wow, very nice runs! I ran the same time (8.9) on street tires. that's awesome how much of a difference slicks make, I didn't think it would be that much.
