Pedophilia, murder by sufication, stabbing, shooting, hanging, chainsaw, bombs, nukes, rape, voyeurism, the word bomb at the most inopportune time, fire in a crowded place now become arrestable crimes. This would literally clean the entire US of everyone in the streets.

However, if you look at most of today's modern "hate crime" legislation, they are punishing thoughts, not acts.
The act was already illegal. The hate crime stuff adds additional punishment for "bad" thoughts that led to the crime. It's a travesty that laws like that got on the books.
