Radiator Support Sensor???

I noticed that at the bottom of my radiator support (the center piece that unbolts) there is a sensor. I've searched and haven't come up with an answer as to what it is. Anybody know? Thanks. I can provide a pic if needed.

(Doh! you guys are too quick and I didn't read replies first.....)

You can also rip that sensor out to clean up your engine bay and replace it by wetting your finger, rolling down the window and sticking it outside for a moment!

I'm just kidding with you Adam, HA!

I would have thought it was part of the alarm system, I believe there's a sensor near there that lets the system know if the hood is popped?
