okay, very annoying radiator light comes on. Just replaced my radiator cap with a bad seal, which of course led to pressure in the system and new thermostat replacement. Every time I make a left turn the radiator light comes on. There is fluid in the radiator, wiggled the wires around thermostat and light did not come on......any ideas next?:slap:

So many funny responses... so little time.

Your radiator is now defective - caused by the bad seal on the cap. Replace your radiator and all connecting hoses will fix this problem.

Nah... kidding.

This light does double duty with your power steering system. If the coolant level looks good it means your power steering pump is about to go out. Replace that and you'll be fine.

Joking...

Actually your water pump has a leak in it.

oops that isn't right either...

Just add more coolant to the overflow bottle. Your level is low and when you turn left the sensor is uncovered - turning your light on.

"Your birdcage is empty" ....

Seriously though the sensor in your overflow tank is probably stuck, or broken. Remove the tank, clean it up really good, and see if the "float" on the sensor moves up and down like it's supposed to do. (If the float is stuck, then it does not matter how much coolant you have in the system/tank etc.)

Nice one there though Keith... :)

Thx I'll start off with removing the overflow and clean it up, then add coolant. Thx for the tip, who would think of putting a sensor in the overflow,oh well you learn something new everyday
