My whole car only weighs 3700 pounds and you're not picking up the whole car at one time so it should work, but I would want at least a two ton jack if they have one.

One of the Aluminum ones? I had one fall apart in 2 years. I was disappointed by that.

I will say this though - it was great while it lasted!

They are nice pit jacks to take to the track with you. After that get a real jack that will hold up. As Doward has already pointed out, they dont last long.

You HAVE to do maintenance on those jacks...

You have to retighten everything pretty often as they come loose. Or use loctite...

I bought one ages ago then returned it as it wouldn't fit under my car ;)

Gravity and lowered suspension isn't on Fatty's side.

I looked at low profile jacks a couple days ago and the Craftsman is $199.00

Hence my stock suspension.

You should be able to find a local auto parts dealer that will sell you something cheap, or look in your local paper. People sell this kind of crap all the time.

i have the craftsman aluminum jack. The 2 ton version. That thing is low enough to get under a lowered supra!

If taht does not work, do what the WRC teams do. Mini ramps to lift the car enough to get a jack under there.

I have a beast of a jack, and there is no way it will fit under my car, so I have two of the little spare jacks that came with the car that I put on each side and lift it up just enough to get my jack under. This take a little bit longer but to me it's worth it . I had a harbor freight jack and it busted quickly. Mine now is a lowes kobalt jack, I love it.

Bought one from Schucks a couple years ago, $100 with 2 jack stands. Works great and is a quick pump jack, like 4 pumps to max height! Really not bad quality for the price. Bought it as a temporary and then just kept using it and still using it!

Michelin 3½-ton Speedy Lift Jack, is what I have... got it for $105. The thing is rediculously heavy, but I'm pretty sure you could drop a truck on it and the truck would break. ~5" min hieght, 22" max, more than enough for most supras.

Make sure you look at lift height. Some of those jacks will only lift to 14". I would go with a minimum of 16" raise height and more if I could get it.

ive been through so many jacks. those racing jacks are great because they are convienient to use, but they brake easily. you have to check the oil on them often and have to tighten the swivel wheels basically every time you use it or else the ball bearing will come out. dont get an aluminum jack. go with steel.

I'm using the same jack, and it's the best jack I've ever owned. I picked mine up at Sam's Club for roughly $69.00

DOH! Nice deal at $70 :biglaugh:

We've been convinced it was the best $105 spent in the garage yet.
