how about this one:

txs-bov-h-hyb.jpg

Type H Hybrid 50/50
Part #: txs-BOV-H-HYB
The Turbo XS Type H Hybrid Blow off valve is ideal for Mass Air Flow (MAF) metered cars that want some noise but don't want the problems associated with venting to atmosphere. The Hybrid Type H is CNC machined out of billet aluminum and is specifically designed with high boost applications in mind. This BOV recirculates 50% of air and vents to atmosphere 50%.

this one is from JSC Speed.

i'm just looking at other options for "up-graded" recirc/bypass valves other than OEM ones; ie Toyota, BOSCH and DSM.

i know you can recirc the SS HKS one and i think you can recirc the the BLITZ DD and SS one also. you just need to find the adapters. these TurboXS one seems so simple you just cant go wrong. am i right?

that looks like a regular BOV (out to atmosphire). i dont see how you can recirc that large outlet back into the turbo inlet.

so, what are your experiences with piston type BOVs?

Pull type bpv's are ftw... What are your feelings on the Tial BOV? It's a piston type also correct? They come with a stiffer spring (11 lb) that should keep it closed at idle correct?

yep, ive sold a few of these. really nice.

to reroute it back to the intake you just need a hose adapter to reduce the size.

I have one of these, but my car is not unning right now, and ive never had it on.

How do they sound?

I run one, I really like it.. I had a TON of surge with a Greddy Type-S.. so I switched to the HKS Racing Bypass valve. I run it to the atmosphere and it sounds great, but it's not obnoxious if thats what you're going for. Pretty quiet unless your really getting on it. It was pretty loud at 22psi.

i think you can also gt them with other spring rates. 7, 9, and 11 lb springs are available for the Tial BOVS.

Nothing like the SSQV. More like the Type-S than anything... but even less noise. It would probably be very comparable to the Type-R if you have ever hear one.

what about this one:

txs_rbv25.jpg

"The Racing Bypass Valve Type 25 was specifically designed to replace the 1 inch (25mm) Bosch Bypass Valve used in most Volkswagen and Audi applications. The Bosch valve is prone to failure in stock application and not adequate for holding boost in "chipped" 1.8T equipped vehicles. The RBV-25 spring tension is adjustable, making it ideal for your modified vehicle. This valve is not loud compared to an atmosphere BOV."

would this be a suitable alternate to the BOSCH 110?
