raced a srt-4 in my sisters stock 02 wrx

I cant say this was a kill, because i lost. but it was a good race. we raced from 70 to 130 and by the end amazingly he only pulled one car length on me. Arent the srt-'s supposed to be able to beat sti's on the highway? The funny thing though is, i know this kid, and since he bought the car he has put an aluminum walmart wing on it, put these nasty ass wheels on it, i dont even know how to explain them besides i think he found them at the bottom of his cereal box, and lastly he painted the majority of his interior neon green, neon......what a coincedence. so honestly i dont even care if he beat me by a car length, he is an idiot for turning a nice srt-4 into a bowl of rice. :biglaugh:

for real, i was told SRT-4s were monsters, i took a ride in this one with a cat-back, the kid thought his shit was so fast, it was pretty weak for a 2.4L turbo

the srt-4's are quick when they are tuned but cat back or intake doesn't help much, box stock they are actually fairly slow for being a 2.4L turbo. A guy in town has a full 3.5 inch turbo back system, intake, Boost controller, bigger FMIC, BOV, Hard pipes, 850cc injectors, Bigger turbo Ill have to ask him what size, Exhaust manifold, Tial wastegate, and some other goodies, its pretty quick but runs so rich right now if he gets on it in front of you u end up with fuel all over your windshield LOL. cool car, stock it was pretty sad though. He left his black, with tint and black 17 inch rims and thats it, No rice which is good RICE = GAY

Yesterday at work a guy pulled up next to me and asked me if i wanted to race his srt4 so i was like why not. I asked him what have u done to it? and he was like just intake bov and race chip he wasn't too young he was 28.
I was like I'll race you in a 87 supra turbo and he said in the old piece of chit. I was like ok if you beat me I'll race yopu in my cobra. I asked my friend to borrow me the supra that i sold him and he said let me race him first. I knew if my friend race him he was going to loose bad cuz he can drive for chit. The guy in the srt4 put like 3 cars on him. The guy was laughing at me and he was like why did u think that old bucket was going to beat me. I told him let's do it again.
I beat this guy off the line and from a 50mph roll. He was like you got juice and I told him my friend doesn't know how to drive.
My friend got beat by a stock 91 acura integra with a fart can lol.
I told this guy to get a 50 trim turbo if he want to beat me.

LOL your friend must really suck, does he not understand qucik shifts, etc. No offense but you need friend who can at least drag race, c'mon its all straight, no downshifting unless you mess up, my little brother could do that and hes six.

:werd: i don't know how people can excuse lost drag races as "bad driver" or "doesn't know how to shift", i mean, after you drive stick for more than like 6 months a mis-shift becomes a rare occourance, or at least thats how it was with me
