R154's came in what other vehicles?

Basically trying to figure out a problem with the hole for the abs sensor.
The sensor fits perfectly in a hole in the auto housing that is ~15mm the one on my tranny is ~20mm. So basically trying to see if the tranny came off another car and the housing is different.
I was told I could get a freeze plug and knock that in but then I would have an abs code forever.
So just looking for some thoughts.

The R154 is actually Supra and Soarer specific.

The thing is, The R series Transmission is a truck transmission. So you are most likely looking for a truck.

If I reall correcltly, There are 2 4WD R series and 2 RWD R series transmissions.

R150 I believe is the 2WD one

I'm sure the tailshafts(where I assume this sensor is,) are probably all the same, so it was a mixup

No, the R154 is specific to the Supra and Soarer. The version that comes in all Toyota trucks are either R150's or R151's. Same basic design but with different gear ratio's and a shorter input shaft (96 and earlier versions). You might be able to get the part you need out of a truck version.

That's what I'm hoping it's just weird that everything fits perfectly except that one plug. I'll see if I can find it.

the casing's are very similar to quite a few vehicles,(even outside of Toyota) but the gearing is where the big differences are.
