gday all!

does anyone know where i can get a good quality short shifter to suit R154? I have seen a cheap brand on ebay but not sure how that would go.
Trying to find a supplier for the c's shifter but not having much luck.
Any help would be great !

As far as I know, there are only the four options. Well, leaving out the ebay junk that plain didn't fit at last try.
- Beech performance
- C's, which I don't think is still being manufactured. When I tried this one, I was less than impressed.
- S2 (or 3, or 4, or whatever they are up to now) from Suprasport.
- Nash's, which is more adjustable and has an even shorter throw, but is bulkier.

S3 shifter is the best out there IMO. I have tried all 3. :)

Which 3? I listed 4...

I've tried the C's, the S3, and Nash's. I like Nash's the best, then the S3, then the C's. Actually, I don't like the C's at all, I'd run stock first. I've also tried the SOGI mod, of course, but it's not even in the same league as the rest.

I have the mk1 ebay one right now, shifter length is stock but it does have a shorter shift to it. Though I'm not liking the stock shifter height so I just bought one of nashman's shifters, and will give my thoughts when I install it.

lol lets see if this thread ends up like the SF one

No, but my opinion is mine. Also, facts are facts about the throw which was put out there as well.

My bad, I didn't try Beech.

Out of the three shifters I've tried, (NM, C's and S3), the S3 is hands down (IMO) the best. It doesn't feel notchy and isn't too close. Maybe I will do a write up when I get a chance. Or, maybe Dave will. ;)

I did the sogi mod way back when but that was a temp deal.

I drove Dave's car, so actually, I can add that as far as driving, and the rest will be in different category. It's my opinion still. I'm sure others like it and that's fine but I am simply giving my thoughts on it. Obviously if people buy your shifter, great, it works for some, and some it doesn't. It is personal preference really.
