ok, i was thinking about this a little bit ago as well...i think this idea may have been mentioned above me - but i wasn't sure if he meant the same thing...so i drew it out. give me a break though - i'm using a wireless (RF) optical mouse on my leather couch...my computer is hooked up to my 47".
from left to right: clamping bolt, the inners of that clamp, and an unrolled example of what it does.
shouldn't be a big issue when used for the rear ones...only things i see wrong would be that the ring around the hole would have to be apart of the targa structure instead of a plastic piece, and they'd get in the way of the visor when it's on (since the bolts for the front are actually in the targa...the clamp would just be simply twisted to almost tight and clamped...
