Quick radiator question

Are the 7m-gte and the 1jzgte radiators interchangeable?

Curious if my 1jz fan shroud will work with a 7m-gte radiator.

What about the 2jzgte?

The shrouds aren't interchangeable, but of course both will fit in the car. Not sure about the 2J rad.

mounting points on a 2jzgte radiator are different but i just used my 7m one

used my 7mge rad and shroud works fine, i even have pics some ware if anyone wants to disagree. I dont know if the 7mgte are the same as 7mge but its a temp setup i wont drive it with this rad

7m and 1j radiators should be interchangeable, i have a 7m radiator cooling my 1j. the fan shroud should be interchangeable also

no, not interchangeable

At least not directly.

I run a Koyo race radiator, and it's for the 1J. Has the temp sensor bumb and you have to fabricate brackets (and modify the aux. fan bracket) to make it fit a 7M shroud and aux. fans.

Supposedly the 7M radiator and shroud will fit a 1J/2J swap as long as you use a mechanical fan.

yea, sorry forgot to add that if you have the hydrofan setup the radiators aren't directly interchangeable but if you have the clutch fan setup it is.

Well i'm about to order a koyo race radiator and wanted to know if the 1j and 7m units are the same. I am running electric fans btw.

you'll have to plug the temp sensor hole somehow, modify the lower donut mounts (cut the rubber parts shorter so the radiator sits low enough), and figure out how to mount your fans.

i would just get the 7m one since your gonna use e-fans and not the hydro fan
