If your exhaust has a sweet smell, like coolant thats a pretty big sign of BHG. In my autoshop this kid brought in his chevy tracker with a BHG. The teacher told me to floor it and it blew white smoke and the whole shop got coated with a thin coolant film.
I'd have to say just make sure the engine is stable enough that it won't damage it to drive it to a body shop. It needs a lot of work, but you'll feel an even greater sense of accomplishment when it's finished... good luck!
Pretty sure the disgusted looks on their face would be from when you blew the doors off of your own car...
IMO you should really think about parting it out...good grief that thing is rusty...hell it's one giant rust! You paid $100 for it, part it out and get like $500-700...put that towards another Sup in better condition and you would save yourself the thousands you'll probably pay in body work. But it's your choice, good luck whatever you decide to do :icon_bigg
Yeah dude, not to discourage you from anything. You got a good buy and you could make 5 times your money!
Part her out, take the cash. Put in another 500 and you could easily have your self a turbo supra in good condition. Ill take some parts off your hands right now.
