ok here is my question. my guage cluster has no readings on it whenn i turn the key to the on position nor will the guages light up. my question is the wire in the 1jz wiring that is labeled "dash ground", would that keep the guage cluster from working properly or should i turn else where. note that i have checked the fuses and they are good.

The cluster should still light up. The cluster ground is only for the water temp sensor it looks like
