If I remove the igniter box for what ever reason and re-attach it back will i create any problems....will anything reset, short, etc?

As long as you don't turn the key over, you should be fine. If for some reason it still spits a code, it's not that big of a deal. Just pull the EFI fuse and it will reset the ecu.
