Quick question- what's the street-friendliest coilover?

I have TEMS and I do realize the springs are a separate deal from the shock but my current springs are looking pretty old.

I think I will just stick to getting new Illumina struts and some springs over getting coil overs.

I have tokicos and B&G springs on mine and I LOVE it. And surprisingly, when I push it I get oversteer rather than understeer. I think I need a bigger front sway bar haha

Anything but Megan tracks. Let's get some spring rates along with these different coilovers guys. Mine are 18kg front and 15kg back and it's too stiff. Megan tracks :(

If I had to get new ones I would look for spring right of maybe 12kg front and 9 rear.

Could get the powered by max ones when they come out and get the softer spring.

I have 16/12 spring rates and mine arnt bad for dd on the second softest shock setting.

Glad to hear that 16/12 is acceptable for street use.
Makes me feel that 14/8 will be just fine for daily driving.

The 240SX guys use Powered By Maxx and they swear by them. They can be rebuilt here in the USA and genuine parts are available here in the USA as well. 1000 is not bad at all.

I've heard that people liked the Megan EZ coilovers. They don't have pillow ball hats so they don't have that harshness that track coilovers do, plus the spring rates are lower, but still much stiffer than stock springs.

I don't have them, but if I ever switch to coilovers I think those are what I would get.

I have these, and they're amazing. My car handles insanely better than stock but it isn't a harsh ride, even with the shitty roads in my area.

my Kei Office are 14/10, and that's a pretty good spring rate if you aren't slammed or wanting to see track time.

16/10 or 16/12 would be my all around recommendation for a car that sees track time and/or is low to the pavement.

I'm thinking of picking up a set of these just to try them out. thanks for the info!

I already have the fender roller from them, so why not :)
