Quick question. Goin from 87 to 91 from bumper

I'm goin to a junk yard hopefully tomorrow to get a 91 front bumper thats in mint condition. What I need to know is, do I need the metal support behind it for the new look or is it just straight up swappable? Even with the fog lights? Also is the nose piece where the Supra logo goes the same or would i need that too? The car has nice turn signals and grill pieces, the fog lights where taken thou. I just want to know what I would need to take to covert from 87 to 91 before I go tomorrow. Is it just the cover I need or all the support behind it too?

Poor car was traded in for the cash for clunkers. What a waste, it looked mint!

It changes right over from 87 to 91 no problem, except the fogs, and the head light sqiurters. I think,I'm not sure there might be slight mod on the bracket, for the most part , it swaps just fine.

Well I know I need the new fog light style. But it bolts in the same spot the 87s bolt into right?

Everything is the same, except fog lights. Head light squirters??? Those aren't on the bumper.

The header pannel has the toyota logo, its separate from the bumper.

When you get the bumper get all the metal frame work as well, when I did my swap I did not have these and my bumper sagged, also the header frame is not the same it lacks a few bolt holes the blinkers uses 2 and the other 2 are needed by the bumper cover itself. Get the header and the bumper cover with all the frame work, pretty easy swap.

the crash bar and the foam is not needed as the 87 will work. forgot to mention that.

I know the squirters are not on the bumper, he did ask about the header panel though.

The small sqaure lights near the bottom are fog lights, at least that's how I understand it, that's where I think my fogs are, I consider the bumper from the grill on down to the air dam, my small sqaure rectangle lights are about an inch from the botton.:biglaugh:
