if i converted auto. to manual. would i need a manual ecu? does it make a difference in revs and etc.?

Theres a writeup somewhere on how to trick the ECU thinking that the car is in park to start the car on the auto ecu but using a manual tranny. If you do this the ecu will throw you a code for the tranny missing.

im in manchester i just figured id ask if it would make it run differentley if not then thats cool. i already have the whole 5spd w58 swap done

i wouldnt call it meets but most of the people around here go to sullivan tire on south willow st. from like 8:30 to whenever and hang out and you'll get random people there that will ask you if you wanna do a "highway run" lol
yea its n/a just been slowly researchin about the 1jz so im jus drivng the 7mge til it dies(as in not even fixin it if something goes wrong)
