i'm not getting a larger throttle body.
i see allot of people on here running 2.5" IC pipes all around so i thought i'd do the same.

The reason why people use 2.5" because it will handle big power without getting very much over critical velocity. Using a 2.75" pipe you will have to be pushing some pretty decent boost to keep the velocity up, but still, you've got 2" restrictions in your system. I did some research on this a while back on here, my threads name was something like "how many CFMs can I run?" or something like that. Anyways, Jdub and Doward helped me through the math and that's where I decided the best setup for my specific turbo and power goals, which is 2.5" piping and boosting to 15 psi. These figures will be different depending on what your goals are. Search for that thread and read it, it's pretty good
