Quick, O2 bung question, hurry, LOOOOOK!

All right, Im out of time... I bought my AEM wieband, but it STILL isnt here, and I have no more time to wait... So, what do you do when you need something and cant get it... You MAKE it...

OK, Im making an O2 bung today outta stainless, and I need to know the thread pitch and NPT size...

wideband and narrow band 02 are standard size. if you are tuning why not just swap the wb in place of the narrowband?

Narrow band isnt as accurate for tuning as a wideband... NB is about as good as a disco ball...

All right, well we got most of the exhaust tacked, gunna go cut and tack a few more pieces, and we'll be making the bung... So stay tuned, should have pics of my exhaust in my build thread tonight...

yeah thats what i was saying. unscrew the narrowband sensor, screw in the wideband in its place. at wot you dont need the narrowband anyway.

sounds like you went to building anyway.

Any exhaust shop should have a WB threaded bung that you can buy and weld into your piping.

I just couldnt wait... And no exhaust places open today, so, we made some... Custom building a 3.5" exhaust is time consuming, I know I said pics tonight, but it will be tomorrow... We were measuring and cutting here, then taking the stuff to the shop to tack weld, then bringing them back, and then goin back to the shop, etc... It was really time consuming, and with having to CNC machine two bungs, blah... Anyway, Im VERY pleased with the design and the way its looking... Rob is staying up late tonight to weld the piping, and tomorrow, we will button it up with the final long cut and all the hangers...

yes that will work too. but as often as i swap 02 sensors, they seem to strip out fairly easily. maybe its just the ones ive seen were cheap quality or something.
