question on the 7m

im swaping a 7m into a mustang foxbody dont flame me lol i like the supra engine just cant afford a 1j or 2j this is my old motor from my mk3 rod knocked but enough of that on to my question

what all would i need i know the supra engine bay was full of sensors and plugs what is the bare minimum i wouold need hooked up to make the engine run i have the harnes and all the sensors on the motor it self ecu what can i eliminate on this enough to run the motor 100%

The only thing you can eliminate if you're gonna run the stock ecu is the stock boost sensor....everything else needs to be with the engine..

so aslong as i have all the stuff hooked up on the engine it would run or do i need all them sensors and stuff under the hood along the fire wall

The sensors are there for a reason. not hooking them up is going to cause limp mode and a ton of other problems.

Indeed. You need everything there to run the engine. They all serve a purpose, and are necessary. Such things as the Igniter you can't just thrinow aside if you relocate. It grounds through it's mounting tabs and must be mounted to a good chassis ground.

I would involve myself heavily with the TSRM and really find out what things do so you can get a better idea of what you can move/delete and what you cannot.

You can eliminate the cruise control setup though. Pull the engine harness and everything attached to it. Take the whole setup by the fuse box where the igniter mounts too. It has a lot of important sensors.

Yea TRSM is your best friend here. Look it over and If there are sensors that you don't know what they are then you may be getting in over your head. Building the MKIII is a serious job. But throwing it in a mustang is even more being your keeping the stock ECU.
