Anyone have any idea on how to remove the TQ Converter? Ive got the motor out and the trans off. there are bolts between the flexplate and block that go in to the TQ Converter but how do you get anything in there with enough leverage/force to loosen them?

Ive taken a hammer, wrench to them and they wont break free. Am i missing something?

Unbolted it from the flexplate? I see you have. Get a combo wrench in there, the box side. and another wrench slide the box end of the 2nd wrench on the open side of wrench #1 to give you enough leverage to break them loose. If that dosnt help, try getting a pry bar behind the TQ converter and the block and monkey fuck it out of there.

the flexplate is bolted to the crank, and can only be accessed once the tq converter is off. The tq converter is held on by 6 bolts, and can be done 1 at a time when the bolt is rotated to the 6 o'clock position. Shouldnt be a big issue unless they are overtorqued or rusted up a bit.....
