targa bolts in and becomes a stress member

t-tops do not, so you get subpar handling with em on or off, while a targa is better when it's on, and sloppier while off...

Those of you complaining about wobble with the targa off....

Not kidding, it really DOES make that much difference...

noted! (wouldn't hurt, easy to do and i already, literally, retorqued EVERYTHING else on the suspension:()

forgot that i fixed* the problem when i tightened my targa down so i guess ignore that other post ;);)

No. I love my Targa. I would not buy a Supra without one.

The one thing I would like to see done is integrate a solid glass(or equiv. clear material) into the top so it was like a sunroof while the top was on.

im gonna try and finsh working on one as soon as i get out of this study im doing ill start a thread on it when im done with it

May be I'm just bias to the Targa because its a Supra thing but T tops just look ugly in my opinion. I don't like that line in the center of the roof even if it does improve rigidity.

There was a member on SF a few years back that did T-tops on a mk3...looked decent. Don't remember his name or what happened to the car though. Maybe some of the other senior guys can chime in about this.
