Question answered, Thanks! First time running wide band, on smog test:

Whats the low down on running a wide band on a smog test?? Isn't the smog tech gonna wonder why there's two 02 sensors?? Isn't two wide bands a little supicious? Should I disconect the wide band and hide it? I have two 02 sensors because was told (from reading S.M.) that I could leave the narrow band in an still run the both narrow and wide band.

How did they know it was not the OEM AFM (honest question, did they measure it)?

they will see the 2nd O2 and will question it or fail you there and then....... Plug it up.

I'm in cali too, and it just depends on how well you know your smog guy really....
most of them will let a lot of stuff slide if they know who you are. The only thing that my smog guy cares about is that the car passes the puffer test, and that the gas vapor system seals up.

honestly: I don't know how he knew, He looked me dead straight in the eye and said "That's not stock is it" (like he knew) The only thing that I can think of is that the Lexus A.F.M. and the ct/26 is polished, I think that made him started thinking, and he just got lucky. My opinion, pure luck. That's o.k I went with another smog guy that passed me.
