Question about the 2JZ MAP Sensor....

Thanks guys. I have a laptop right now so that won't be an issue and if I don't need their support software then that takes another 120 off the price so it'll end up cheaper then the SAFC.

Standalones are expensive and I don't feel its nessisary unless i want 500+ hp and my goals only for 400-450 MAX which a piggy back should easily be able to do on the 1J.

IIRC, MattOneDime was making nearly 600whp with an SAFC... I thought that was impressive.

I ran 30psi already on the stock 1JZ Map sensor and just an SAFC.
It can be done. 2JZ maps are a waste IMO.

sorry to dig up a old thread, but i can confirm that JDM 1JZ & 2JZ map sensors from the JZA70 & JZA80 both read exactly the same.

they both stop measuring boost at 1.16 kg/cm2 or 16.8 psi or 4.90v.

im still trying to find which mr2 map sensor is a direct plug n play with a higher capacity/resolution...
