question about rep points

how many +1's do I have to get in order to get a second green bar? it says I have 28 rep points up from the 10 that everyone gets, so I dunno... is it at like 50 that you get a second bar?

I counted mine in the User CP thing and I only have 20 but I recently got two bars? Did I miss something?
EDIT: I see now in the upper right hand corner that I have 119 points, so I am guessing that each time someone gives me some it counts for more than one point?

yep, points given are based on how many points one has.

So if you get rep from someone with a lot of points, you get more then one?

when a moderator/administrator gives you rep points, it counts for way more than if a regular member gives you reps. so if you've received them from GrimJack, or Jeff Lange, or Supracentral, then you've struck gold, so to speak...
