Question about lexus afm housing

I am nearing the end of my rebuild and I was getting ready to install the stock accordion hose onto my lexus afm housing and discovered the hose will not fit over the housing. For those that have switched to the lexus afm housing, how did you fit it to the accordion hose?

It takes some effort. If your accordion hose is too old and brittle you'll have to pick up a new one.

It fits...with a lot of swearing, sweat, blood, tears, hammers, screwdrivers, lube, extra hands...

Put the hose where it is warm so it becomes pliable. Put the meter housing where it is cool to the touch. Very lightly lube the outside of the housing where the hose goes. Slips right on.
