The way I see it is.. If your lights dim when the bass hits.. Then the voltage in the whole car is dropping. So what's the difference if you run a fuel pump off the amp wiring, or run a dedicated supply to the pump? Either way when the bass hits the voltage is going to drop. Get a better battery (that is, if the lights do dim...), and a distribution block and do it.

Why on earth wouldn't you run a dedicated supply?

Why on earth would you want to run an extra 15 ft. Of wire when there is a perfectly good source 2 feet away?

Is 6 gauge strong enough to use for moving the battery to the trunk? My battery is going to be small if I keep it in the front. Like 7 ¾ long by 8 tall and 7 wide with 450CCA

Lights don't dim with bass. Its only 200w. When its maxed out its annoying. Can't see out of mirrors. Start bleeding from ears and then the brown note happens etc etc... jk lolz

If you're gonna put your battery in the trunk.. why have this thread? Haha.. I'd use a LOT bigger than 6. Probably 0 gauge

Sent from my terrible HTC Rezound using Tapatalk. Don't buy HTC...

So you don't engineer in ground loops, don't get whine through the sound system don't ever get into a situation where the pump/s run at less than optimum... :nono:

Sorry I misread your first post in the thread. I'll run a dedicated power wire for the relay and pump 10 gauge with 10 gauge ground and soldered connections with heat shrink. Btw sHould i run the FP wires on opposite side of the car so I don't pick up noise in the subwoofer?

Okay so I ran a 10gauge from battery to a 40 amp blade fuse and its only 14 gauge but that all I could find for a inline fuse and the pump was a mind bender
The original is massive to the 400lph.
And I solved my battery problem. Its a (121r1) 700CA :)
Thanks y'all!

Oh BTW I used to have the sc300 fuel pump ecu hooked up. (using sc300 ecu and 2jzge.)Since a put a jumper on the plug for the power do I need to keep the fuel ecu plugged in?
