q45 coupler size...

Can anybody tell me the size of silicone coupler they used for a q45 tb? My motor tech measured roughly 3 3/8" ID, so I'm assuming 3.5," but wanted to clarify before ordering.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I used a 3.25 from siliconeintakes.com...it was a tight fit, but I got it on there. as with anything tight, lube helps

I used a 3.5" coupler from those guys and if fit perfect. You must have really stretched the 3.25 to make it fit.

Well put it this way, it probably doesn't need to be clamped.

We built a custom intake manifold for it, as well as got a TPS adapter from beechperformance.com (or, I haven't ordered it yet, but you get the idea).

It's not exactly a bolt-on affair, however the q45 tps can be wired into the stock electronics without too much of a headache. I, personally, would rather just put the part and not mess with it. Also, there are two different sizes depending on year, so you may want to watch out for that. Pull-a-part is a good place to find them. All three of mine cost me something like 20-25 bucks a piece.

LOL, it was a slow day at work. My piping kit and my Q45 TB came in, and I realized I needed a transition coupler. *determination*
