q for the old skool dudes...

ok so i finally got spark but now the motor cranks but dosent turn over, i chk the wireing and plugs and found that they were black but they were running fine b4, but the book said 153624 was the right firing order, i tried playing around with the cps but no start, what now....is it the cps or the coil or the plugs...

^^^ That's the order of the plug wires on the coil pack, from left to right. It's different than the cylinder firing order.

i posted a new problem on the forum, can u take a look at it..and tell me what u think, i have oil in the spark plug chamber and i a mwondering if that the reason y its not starting, or cld it be the cam cps or the ignitor

I have seriously had 2 1/2 Inches of oil in my galley down there. I could even start my car. You can check everything there is a spec to see if there is a problem check the TSRM. I would suggest buying new Valve cover gaskets, also make sure you order the washer/rubber ring that the bolts get torqued onto, those are not included in a valve cover gasket kit.
