Puzzled? greddy profec-b

i have a greddy profec-b EBC and welll i am stumped i tuned it to hit 9 psi w/o and fuel cut. so while tuning it on the street i hit boost in 2nd and 3rd gear no problem but when 4th gear comes along i hit fuel cut around 5000-5500 rpm so i am puzzled if it a boost leak or not i checked for codes and got a code 34 which is abnormal turbo pressure but i checked out my afm works fine, and my IC pipes are all tight. so i have no idea what it could be and this only happens with the boost controller on when its off i can hit 7psi no problem on all the gears. and ideas?!?!?

I also have a profec-b spec II EBC.. and first off i love that thing. once you learn to tune it its a champ. few things about the unit.

(tuning)

1. make sure the cap is off of the actuator in your enginebay. (should be 2 for the W/G and one open don't put the dust cap back in) it causes boost spike and other nasty gremlins.

2. hook it to the mani.

3. Tune it for 5th gear as that generates the most boost. wat you might be seeing is that you have it tuned in a lower gear, which sees lest boost then higher gears cause there's not as much of a load. (i know when i first tuned it i was doing pulls in 2 and 3rd and sometimes 4th) find a highway take the time. and tune it in 5th gear.


4. now go lookf or boost leaks.
