We drive ford probes, get over it, we can't tell anybody anything else that they'll believe.

On the note of the supra looking like other cars.....

Woah I come back and the thread is way off topic. At least there's no arguments. Anyway, I was simply sharing my experience with everyone.

Yeah 75% of the Honda population thinks a spoiler and unpainted body kit would make their car faster, but I was showing props where it was needed. This Civic is nowhere near a ricer, and everything is completely stock other than whats in the engine.

A fast car is a fast car, whether it's a golf cart or a dragster.

I still, just as many others here, prefer the Supra over any car in our price range, and in some cases, money not being a problem, still choose a Supra.

i saw a stock prelude engine dropped into a crx. the shit was fast. light weight car ftw i guess?
the car started shaking after about 90MPH though, so he never wanted to race it too much.

i've seen a full on fiberglass CRX crash. it went from funny to "OMFG, is he ok?" in about 15 seconds. it destroyed a WRX and itself. boy did that guy get messed up. i'm glad i own a tank.

Front drive turbo car can't get traction in the wet go figure......

I have a data log of mine turning the rears in the dry at close to 100mph
(285/35/18's)

You really need to go for a drive in a fast Supra Matt ;)

Meh, sounded like alot of tire spinning. Imagine that tires spinning on a light weight fwd car, doesnt take much power for that. My bro-inlaw has a vw gulf that he spins the tires in every gear....

I can spin the tires on my mom's geo metro... it's a 1 liter 3 cylinder too...

FWD sucks for traction, but there are some fast FWD cars out there...

SRT-4's come to mind... Got into a race recently with one that he went stealth on me and took the wing, badging, and the exhaust off... still lost to me, but I've lost to a highly modded one as well, so I have respect for em.

Turbo hondas? yep, some nasty bastards around here that run stock bodies and the only thing that gives em away is the exhaust, larger wheels, and the gauges...

guy on SF with a 500+ HP integra that looks stock except for wheels...

Greg Baker in Lexington Kentucky has given me a ride in one of the worlds fastest 350Z (430z). I'm pretty sure I can point out what fast is, and isn't.

correct me if i'm wrong but Civic's are peg legged pirates as only few FWD cars lock diff. That would make it easier to get all the power concentrated to 'one' wheel.... nothing special.

JDM is the new "rice" in the Honda world.Wings and bodykits are out..Unless ur mexican.(sorry if i offend anyone but..its the truth)
I like my Supra much better than my Civic..But my wallet likes my Civic mpg much better than my Supras mpg. But i constantly have to worried about my civic getting stolen :( .Not the Supra tho..Im so glad it says Security on the windows.

When i first got my Supra running and driving i was sooooo dammed excited..
But once i got around everyone in the group one friday night..All i got asked was "Does it have a 1jz?". Or "When r u gonna drop a 1jz in it?"... Assholes, i like my 7m. Needless to say..I got beat by a turboed Integra GSR on the Interstate that night.(2:00am) 40-140..But once when hit 130 i started reeling him in until he had to let out. He only got me by a length and half.
