My accordion hose broke. Simple as that. I had a vac leak and my car wouldnt idle. I said you know what. might as well do it good since its gonna need a new one.

First off TurboHoses in livermore = Best place EVER. I showed up at like 4:10 begging for this to be fixed. They close at 5 the guy said lets do it. He measured, cut, welded and voila! I have a badass hardpipe for my N/A!

They are a full fledged speed shop. They have an E36 M3 that just got turboed. They work on some Trans Am Cars. They have 2 autoX and SCCA race Z's(one is a turbo:naughty: ) other has Individual TB's! And they are doing some R&D on an NSX right now!

It looks very nice. Definitely cleans things up a bit.

I'm sure this has been asked before but, is there any noticable difference? I'm sure it'd look great with my Apexi regardless.



On a side note, I just noticed something. There's a hose connected to the throttle body that I'm sure my car doesn't have. It's on the opposite side of the PCV inlet, not the smaller coolant lines the larger one on the front, left... looks to be leading into the intake manifold. What is that hose?

I can notice a throttle response difference. It seems to drone a bit more. Sounds sweet!

Oh and yes couplers were included!

And tonight I did a bit of extra work.. I swiss cheesed my air box! Ill get some pics posted when its not 2 AM! I also did the TEMS full hardness switch mod. Im lovin the way she sounds at WOT. Real neat

ummm, where's the turbo? something is wrong with your engine. that pipe is supposed to connect the TB to the ic, not to the afm. looks like u bypassed the turbo completely. you should get that checked out.

Man I wonder how the distrubers work on 7M's, I remember taking them out of V8's in my shop class but they were mounted directly on top of the motor not all crooked.... how is the blade inside spinning? I need a damn owners manual.

It turns by a gear on the exhaust cam just like the CPS on GTE's.

Anyways that turns shaft which turns the rotor which strikes the caps which send spark to the plugs...I think.

no difference.

since it moves at half the speed of the crank. It lights all 6 cylinders without issues. Only difference is its mounting orientation.

That guy with the M3. What a douche. So typical of BMW owners. Just roll the car in, tell the shop the car needs to be fast, drop $$$. I was told he was spending about $40,000 on that car and didn't even want to have a hand it the work.

Nice intake pipe. Those welds are pretty. I am going to have them build me a new down pipe when the time comes.

^ Did I see that? Hell yes! Thoes Valve covers were amazing! The dash was amde of the same material laced with Orange! I got an amazing deal I still owe the guy some cash or work but he diddnt charge me labor because I was in dire need of this.
