Look into a B&M T Stat and cooler I'm very happy with mine!
i thought about the t-stat, but living here in PR gives me a lot of advantages that USA and europe doesnt have. tropical weather! i know that if the oil runs at a way too low temp its not good either, but here in PR it's extremely rare to see a day with temperatures of 60 degrees F.... in fact, if it ever happens, it's around the mountains when it rains, and at night. hence why i removed the t-stat from the water system and why i dont think i would really need a t-stat for the oil system.....

that's using my tropical weather logic.... think ill be fine?

I think both T Stats are important as they keep the temp more or less consistant and as the stock and aftermarket ECU's are reading coolant temp the'll be making corrections if it fluctuates.

(my thinking on this is if they don't have to correct for temp too often it's a good thing in case you get a marginal load of fuel and end up with detonation)
