I need a new ps cooler and I can't freaking think straight right now and got a mad headache :icon_mad:

I was about to go to kragen and have them ravage through cooler boxes until one comes up that fits into the firewall since they don't have the mk3 one, but then I realized maybe I could go permacool since kreagen will probably charge around 50.

My question is will this do the trick? What is the best mounting place and what kind of lines are sufficient to use?

This is the ps line that goes up top the inter cooler.

Nah but really what are the options for doing this right that's under $100.
It's a 3/8 hardline right.... that -6an? Ummmm does it have to be a hardline? Best place to mount a permacool?

My brain is so fucking fried for the day it's not even funny, I'm gonna take a little nap to regen some brainpower.

i got a nice one at advance auto for 30$. it is like 10inches by 4inches and gets the job done. it came with hardware to mount and plenty hose. i mounted it between the radiator and condenser and u cant even see it. the fan draws air through it anytime the engines on there so it works pretty well.

you can use any tranny cooler on the market.3/8" or an-6 would work good.it doesn't matter if it's soft or hard line used.it should be used on the low pressure side of the system anyway's

I can't afford -06 steel braided hoses and fittings atm but I can upgrade a little later.

Is there a cheaper way I can make the -06 cooler work with normal hoses/clamps for now?

you can use an-6 push lock fitting's and hose also.it is just a high pressure hose that can also be used with a worm clamp on the other end.

i wasn't thinking you were trying to save a buck, the way you reacted to the use of the stock 7m oil cooler

It's just I see something thats really cool, then piece it together, look at the total and cry.. lol.

Thanks for the link I found one on Jeggs cause I'm gonna make a complete order from there today.

I only need a 3' and 2' hose to connect the cooler to where the lower portion of the stock ps lines meet the upper.

Would it be okay if you showed me the right hose I need, I can't seem to find it.

Here's what I have:

Edit,
Sorry a better way to word this would be does anyone know a cheaper replacement for the super stock hose that would work with the http://www.jegs.com/i/Earls/361/700167/10002/-1.
