Pronounce Tein

Me and my friend are arguing in class about this. Someone settle it!

Well I say it's TAYN and he says its teen. Oh well. It's pronounced on the side of the box. I'm 99% sure it's TAYN, but oh well.

te = tay
in = een

so tayn would be very very close

Same here - three years I lived in Japan, and it was great.

Good to know that SOME people know how to pronounce Japanese.

Yeah I used to pronounce it Tea - en, until I called a distributor and he promptly corrected me. "Tane" is how he pronounced it.


PS FYI Cusco isn't Cuss-co, its cooos-co (like Coos Bay, OR)

i always said it coos-ko never heard cuss-co before.
and tein i always said like rain cuz that's what it looked like to me.
but then i read that it meant TEchnical INnovation and figured
"TEH" from TEchnical
and "IN" from INnovation
"TEH"+"IN"=TEN
but then i, too, got corrected by a tein employee that it was like "rain"

so... yeah. tane. i was right all along
