-1988 toyota mk3 Supra anyone?


i bought this car a while back and i have done alot to it since i have purchased it (mostly because it keeps breaking down heh:nono

i dont have any good pics because its in the garage with a blow turbo AGAIN!!!- hoping albert on here helps me out with a upgraded CT :1zhelp:

Also i bought these 720cc injectors thinking it would be okay with a SAFC II but i was wrong lol... currently looking for some 550cc injectors if anyone wants to sell/ trade... but i would like to keep them for the future than trade them .. so throw me some offers if you like PM style ...

braided brake lines are going in after new turbo gets here along with the this little gem because mine has a slight bend in it.. plus i wanted to rebush everything anyways

anyways .. among alot of other things going in the car soon like my walbrol fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, softline kit, blah blah ..i just wanted to catch you guys up on whats going on since it seems you all have tonz of input to add usually and i love it <3 lol .. all in all i love this car, i have loved it since i bought it even after every breakdown i love it ... i can never see myself getting rid of it .. even tho my wife hates it with a firey passion :: angry :: thanks and hope everyone on here likes whats going on ..


one more thing .. this is my second money pit LOL (big ol nerd)

I feel for you on the wife hating the Supra. I'm in the same boat. Hell, as long as you get the mortgage & bills paid then she has no room to complain. Now if she's helping you fund your project (paying half the household finances) then she has a right to be pissed about a car that keeps breaking down. Especially if this is your DD, and hopefully it's not.

heck no its not my DD ... if it was i would be walking 90% of the time heh .... and my wife takes care of everything around the house and makes sure i dont starve so ill let her complain about my girl on the side (supra) ... but she wont even ride in it lol ...

If your old lady's footin' the bills around the house, just be sure to make her breakfast in bed once a week,
and tell her that to you, the Supra is your metallic embodiment of her, and that's why you work so hard to
make it perfect. Better yet- get a cheap personalized plate for the front with her name on it, and tell her it's
the car's name. Hell, she'll prolly start buying the parts you need.

...as long as your woman's name isn't Christine, of course...

I KNOW that it's a long shot for most women, but honestly(and you can tell her this), a woman who works on a car is automatically TWICE as hot as one

im kind of curious abount the manifold setup. can you post more pics. are you gonna just block off the hole for the old throttle body. seems like a crap load of mods need to be done for the tps/ vacume line and crap. not knockin it. just interested
