I have a 91 supra turbo which was purchased from another SM member back in FEB. i drove from MD to TENN to trade a 00' toyota celica. Which i had just put a new shortblock in and clutch.But let me explain the celica which is a very slow female car , i got it for $2,500 cant pass that up but the only reason i had to purchase this was i had recently totaled my 89 turbo , ahhh worst day of my life my first car gone in a flash .

As soon as i got back home with the car i started to fix all the leaks ..i had the parts in no time cause my pops is the parts manger at the toyota i work at. I pulled everthing off to replace the oil return line off the turbo and the valve cover gasket,dry rotted hoses and the valley gasket. Well when i went to put everything back together i noticed i was missing things which i hadnt removed before and the wiring harness was destroyed . So after a week of frustration of trying to fix the harness i said F@#$ it. I was at a point were i had many choices sell the car of my dreams which at the time was a sleeping beauty ,buy another harness or swap the hole thing for a 1jz. Selling was not gona happen ,could just buy a hrness but had no money ,ifigured if i yank the motor and sold it i could use it to fund a 1jz so the choice was made .
I searched long and hard for a 1jz i wanted ,once i found one from tigerjapanesse i came across another problem. I ordered it and about 2 weeks later they tell me the engine they were gona send me had bad compression ,ok give another one "we dont have any more " they tell me . So i have to wait another 2 weeks for an engine finally i get a call ok we have one its good to got but we have a problem .... ohh god what now .It doesnt have a ecu he says, Well i reply why am i paying for a full swap with ecu if you dont have one well long story short i said by got my money ordered another one .
But while i waited for my engine wassmart enuff to do other htings such as interior i added a AEM wideband installed to the dash and a greddy turbo timer. I also started to paint my interior black heres what i have so far

The 1jzgte i ordered came in UPS freight July 11,2008
So today i was determined to get it started got to work at 7am andwas boosted of amp got a engine puller and got to work .
and in no time i had her in there...
But of coarse came across another problem the motor mounts just wouldnt go in ahhh wtf !
so now i am going to call the place i ordered the engine from because i was told and i read toyota supra 1jzgte but ibelieve i have soarer mounts not cool bro not cool untill tommaro for a update.
