Production Number

I was wondering if anyone knew how to find out what number your Supra might be as far as production number.

I have tried to search the net and these forums for this information and come up empty handed so far. I think the last digits in your VIN tell you something about sequence but not necessarily for your year.

I did find that most seem to agree that for 1992 the production number was 1193. I thought it would be cool to find out where my car stood. I think I remember seeing a build date of November 1991 inside my door. I guess that would make it a fairly early 92?

I'd like to know as well, if nothing else but to know the exact day my car was built. "October of 1987" is pretty vague....

Open the driver side door and look for a plate it should have the build date on it

on the early Celicas the last 6 numbers of the vin were its production number. Pretty cool too when you have one of the first or one of the last ones off the line. I dont know if the Supra is the same but I wouldnt be surprised.
