yes both although not so much stumbling and just alittle backfiring. so yes just a little.

i was thinking that since it's been a while since the car ran and it's pretty low on gas maybe it needs new gas and maybe a fuel stablizer

thats what i was thinking but i'm waiting to drive it to get gas until i get new turbo oil pipe gaskets cause it has a small leak but that helps. thanks
I would completly drain the tank, and fill it with fresh gas, not just add fresh gas to it. just drain it and put a couple gallons in it from a portable gas can. doesnt take much time and would be a good thing to rule out before doing other, more time consuming and/or expensive repairs

does it take very long...although its not like i have anything but time
nah, doesnt take all that long to drop the tank, assuming you've got a decent floor jack and jack stands (one of my friends had my jack when i did this so it took damn near forever, lol)

everything from the cps to the cam gears to the crank is good

and if the timing was off it would run bad all the time

Not true, my timing was off and the only time it was noticable was under acceleration and at cruising speed, it would idle fine.

ok i did not know that +1 for you. well it doesn't do it under acceleration or crusing only....well yes it does but just when the car gets to opperating temp.

I'd say timing. The ECU mod's the timing while the car is cold (retards it, i think), then once the car warms up, the ECU advances it.

Check your base timing.
