Alright, well after searching the threads as much as I possibly could, here I am. My first issue, which is more annoying than anything, when I leave my car idleing or just as I'm driving if I'm not driving too hard. You can hear a little squirt/tv static type of noise. I've asked a few people that I know, and most of them have said it has something to do with the EGR of they had to guess. Other than that, my friend jacked up the car and still could not find the exact proble.

My other issue, my car is hitting only 5psi (stock ct26 turbo) engine has been rebuilt, but everything else has been left the same. What could be the possibilities for this other than some kind of boost leak?

Thanks, Dimitris.

Edit:
I forgot one more thing that I couldn't find, sorry!
I recently replaced the CPS with a CPS that I bought from driftmotion. Wasn't new or rebuilt to my knowledge. I had someone replace it for me, but whenever I go and drive my car from a cold start if I tap gas or drive and let off the pedal, my car will go off. And I know it's not the fuel pump because I have had it replaced with a Walbro. Could it be that the CPS wasn't aligned and put in correctly?

Check your codes. Sounds like you might have a boost/vacuum leak.

1. Does the static noise sound like a little waterfall?
2. Check codes
3. Check timeing

No no, sounds exactly like an old TV or a radio station that only gets static transmission. Doesn't stay on but it comes in intermittenly for a second or two and goes away for about 30-45 seconds then does it again. Do codes get thrown out even if check engine is not on? And timing of the engine itself correct not the CPS?

Codes are stored. Only a few codes will illuminate the CEL. Check them.
