Probably a Stupid question

I just ordered a 3" Bic dp form HPF with a Blitz Nur-Spec for my 88. I know its probably a dumb question, but will the dp and cat back bolt up to my stock cat? I was planning on gutting it and reusing it, but i just realized that its not 3". Will it bolt up? :dunno:

Probably not since it is 3''. Just order a 3'' hi-flow cat.

it will bolt up, my 4'' hpf goliath cat back bolted up to my stock cat no problem. It was tappered down @ the flange and it still fit. I would recommend getting a test pipe. Don't ask why i don't have a test pipe for it because i do but not for the car its on now.

Oh, I didn't think they would actually make it tappered since it will restrict flow. My bad.

When I was working at HPF, we had a v-band option to maintain a true 4" exhaust. If it is a concern, you could ask their sales rep (but I don't even see the goliath listed on the web page at the moment)
