Does anyone know what the pressure drop of our stock intercooler is? I thought I heard it was like 3 lbs. Just trying to figure out how much HP i can expect to gain. Anyone have dyno sheets for spearco replicas?
gained 4-5 psi just from switching to it (i lost 4 psi moving to colorado from texas w/ the oem ic) and it spooled faster to boot. dyno run here would cost half the price of the intercooler heheso no luck there
I'm borderline on fuel cut (11psi), it shouldnt matter because the turbo will still be spooling at 11psi, but i will gain more psi in the intake manifold, correct? Therefore, in theory, still not hitting fuel cut?
theory is great until you hit reality.... the new ic will make the intake track less restrictive so i would expect to see FC in the near future for you
Yeah thats why I used "in theory". But since I have a boost controller it should still boost @ 11psi i thought? The only difference should be manifold pressure? Could be wrong tho, happened once before :biglaugh: I forsee FCD or probably a VPC/maftpro in the near future :evil2:
