Seen so many of these things die and fade away over the years.....

I'll be happy if it happens but not at all surprised if it doesn't.

There is a budget divide between Mk4 and Mk3 owners then another between post 89's and pre.

I had to make 2 attempts to make the Abflug lip group buy go through and it took a long time! Generally, MK4 owners already have good running cars that could afford to make non-essential purchases. MK3 owners on the other hand focus on either getting their cars running or keeping it running.

Have noticed this over the years, I'm not slamming our guys just pointing out why it's sometimes hard to get these things to happen.

I've gone ahead and had a few parts made that have found their way into the Mk3 parts catalogues over the years only because I wanted the part and it didn't yet exist.

My CNC sit's idle 75% of the year as I don't make car parts due to the "hassle" of getting a part to market and the attitudes posted earlier in this thread that people don't want to pay for a part up front, I'm too old to be chasing people for funds then refunding deposits when they decide thay don't want to go ahead.

Thanks for making the effort on this one Rodel, there aren't a lot of AM body parts I'd use but this is one that caught my eye.
(I'd really like a set of body moldings and am still waiting for Paulo to get em made)

Damn i really want on of these but its not looking too good :-/

Think positive. Only 14 more to go.

Another option is to have 12 participants at double the price. $250 fiberglass, $400 carbon fiber. A third option is that you guys buy the 89+ airguide and have it modified at your local shop, which will be the most expensive option. (FYI, creating this pre89 airguide is practically done from scratch.)
