LOL, I dont think she is "dying".
Me and my dad and brother are going to visit her tonight. She should be home by mid-week.
Her being gone makes us realize how much work she did around the house too!
She told my dad that what really got to her was her past job at COACH ( the high end fashion retailer). She sold stuff for them for a year ( ended this past fall ). She never told us the reason she quit until last weekend. They badgered her, and told her she wasnt selling enough yada yada.
My mother is very simple minded. And cannot handle criticism from people sometimes....especially at work. She was not raised in that type of world.
All that high paced "action" basically got to her...all the words her manager told her kept going on in her head.
Needless to say that was a big contribution to her delimma right now.
Last month she was diagnosed with degenerative disc disease in her cervical spine ( neck ). Its basically what "old" people get...something normal acutally. When the disc's between the spine collapse after time...they rub together and cause pain...she is only 44, the years we see this most is 70's!
That again was another biggy, since the only other form of treatment (besides PT 'physical therapy') would be surgery....and some side effect of the surgery are impairment of speech/singing.
She loves to sing, thats all she has done in her life.
And me and my brother are getting older, probably will move out soon. My dad's roll at his job is changing and might make him travel alot more.
Just all this stuff, that generally we men take on as "life" really got to her....sent her in a downword spiral.
