Ok so my problem started with what i believe my passenger window switch shorting out from leaving my targa off while inside and it starting pouring one night. I was able to jump the switch in order to roll it down and up, but it was not controllable from the drive side at all. I had got a working passenger switch from another SM member a while back, installed it and it failed to work, so i'm thinking something else may be wrong.

I'm not sure if there is a relay for the power windows but i don't see that as a reason of why i wouldnt be able to control it from the driver side since the driver window works. Also the fact that I was able to jump the switch terminals to maneuver it, shows that the motor is still intact. Is there any way to determine if it is the switch that isn't working, or if there is a relay that is connected before both of the window switches. I haven't tried to jump it because its a waste of time since my passengers can suffer hahaha. I'm wondering if I could bypass the switch connecters by cutting the switches off and just splicing the wires together or if there is something else I may be missing. Thanks guys.

Have you checked the window lock on the drivers side? The way I checked it was with a meter to see if you are getting power to the pass. side.

Finnon is right, I did that and it worked for a while. If you don't have power to the passenger side it is probably the master switch on the driver side.

I I could'nt wind my passenger window up with the driver side controls.i had to take apart the driver window switch and sand the connections.after that i put it back together and it works like brand new.

kick the passenger side kick panel and see if it starts working, the connector for the power window is under there and can start acting finicky sometimes if it starts to work it's self loose.
