Power VS MPGs

Heres my 7m setup:

57 trim turbo
BIC ddp
3 inch exhaust
Intake
Full intercooler setup
Many other small things.
10 PSI of boost roughly

I drove on the highway with a few full boost pulls out of each toll booth and entrence ramps.

I got 26 mpg on that trip, and around town i achieved 17-23 no problem.

Its all determined on tuneing, and your right foot, IMO.

I get around 18mpg mixed with my 1jz, but that is mostly due to the 4.30s and the twins having a hard time NOT spooling.

I'm suprised the 1JZ doesnt have better gas mileage with the half liter displacement difference.

The stock 1JZ twins play a huge role in fuel economy because it is really hard to keep the car out of boost. They like to spool early!!!!
