Any sort of reservoir with equal or more capacity than the stock one that also has a fitting on the bottom and the side near the top will work.

PM Jimi87t or wait till he sees this thread and he will tell you what he used.

 I have no clue what Kurt is talking about........

JK, I used a universal PS reservoir from a local hotrod shop, you can probably find one on ebay or at summit. You can see pics of my set up in my build thread. The plumbing just consists of the large hose that goes to the pump and the smaller line that come off the "cooler", it is pretty forgiving as the lines are not under any pressure. Just make sure the hose that feeds the pump is mounted so that it gravity feeds the pump.

Cant I just move the stock PS reservoir and get diffrent lines?

If you want to do that I would suggest going with the N/A res. , like blu87sup said. It will work better (mount better). But then again, you could make the one you have work, it's just a matter of fabbing up a bracket.

I'm planning on relocating mine too...

How do you people with different sized resevoirs know whether its got enough liquid in it? :)
And do aftermarket ones have filters in them?

For the level, mine has a level indicator on it. As long as you have the reservoir with plenty of ATF in it, it will be fine.

Filters, does the stock one have a filter?

If I remember correctly, it seems that the screen in the stock reservoir gets clogged over time, and I was thinking of taking mine out...Is it really even necessary?

Summit has all kinds of nice aluminum PS reservoirs from different companies for sale.

I have an N/A one going on my car though...but have considered selling it and getting a nice Al piece from Moroso.

And I have a mint N/A rack with the reservoir ON IT with all the lines attached LOL....that could go on as well....but I am still thinking..LOL

A friend gave it to me to use...but I dont forsee any chance soon of putting it on.

I might go with the no pump/reservoir route and drain the lines and cap them off.....some guys on here have done that ( duane on here has ) and its vaguely harder to steer.
But thats opening up another can of beans in this thread. No need to repost stuff that has been hit on SO MANY other times. Search in my name and a thread made by me about that.....it will be like 6 months old:icon_bigg
